OVERVIEW OF THE JBL TRAVEL GROUP TRAVEL AGENT PROGRAM

A JBL Travel Group Independent Agent sells cruises and all-inclusive vacations to their friends, family, business associates, and anyone else who contacts you with a desire to experience either cruise or a land vacation package. As an Independent Agent you work from home (or wherever you want) and perform all the tasks necessary to sell travel.


Here are the 5 easy steps:

  1. Perform marketing and advertising using your contacts, with email, flyers, business cards, telephone calls, social media, etc. so that prospective clients can contact you to plan their vacation. Creating groups for more profitability and growing your database from organizations you already belong to like your Church, Rotary, Elks Clubs or other organizations.
  2. You will be assigned an inside sales representative that will guide you along the way and help you find the best vacation packages or cruises for your clients.
  3. We will prepare custom quotes for your clients that you can present to them either in person or by email.
  4. When the client agrees you will gather all of the necessary information to book the vacation. Our reservation department will complete all of the necessary paperwork and then send it to you, so that you can contact the client and collect the deposit.
  5. After the booking is made you will monitor the booking for any issues that may arise and stay in touch with the client to answer any questions and collect any additional payments due.
  6. And last but not least, when the client returns from their vacation you will receive payment from us by check or direct deposit commensurate with your share of the commissionable amount earned for the booking.

    This program is available for anyone in the USA who has ever been on a  cruise or has stayed at an all-incluive resort at least once or twice.

  • How Does It Work ?

    As a JBL Travel Group Associate Agent, you will earn 50% of the commission on each sale you make online. ( i.e., an average commission on a cabin is $350.00. The Associate Agent will receive $175.00, If you are a high-volume producer, when you sign up, we will speak to you about how you can qualify for a higher commission rate.

  • How Do I Find Clients ?

    The first thing you should do is let everyone know that you are now a JBL Travel Group Associate Agent. Tell everyone...even those people who you know don't travel that often because they may know people who need a travel agent.


    Business cards are an essential tool as well. Spreading the word about your new business often involves handing out your cards to all prospective clients. You can purchase business cards from your local printer or over the internet. We even have templates for you to give to your business card provider.


    Social Media will be essential in helping to grow your customer base. Facebook is a FREE way to help promote your new business. Share your travel pictures, tips, and promotions all for FREE. This will help you create awareness so your friends, family, and acquaintances know that you're now a Travel Advisor.


    Networking is another way to help get the word out to your local community. You can join your local chamber of commerce or look for local networking opportunities. Most of the time, they will take one leader in each industry.
